Hi, I’m Jessie!
I’m originally from Toronto, Canada, and earned my degree in Kindergarten and Elementary Education from McGill University in 2014. From the very beginning of my career, I’ve felt most drawn to the early years. The small, often overlooked moments where connection, communication, and confidence first begin to take shape.
Over the past 4 years, I’ve worked closely with young children and their families across homes and early learning settings. Again and again, I saw the same thing: real progress doesn’t happen in isolated sessions it happens in everyday moments, when children feel understood, and when the people around them feel supported.
The Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) came into my life at the right time, in a way that felt like it was always meant to be. What started as an opportunity quickly became something much bigger. I saw firsthand how powerful it could be when play, connection, and evidence-based practice come together.
That’s how my work evolved into what it is today.
Through my mobile early intervention practice, I support young children (typically aged 12 months to 6 years) and the people who love them most. Not just through one one one sessions, but by building confidence, clarity, and practical tools that carry into everyday life.
My approach is play-based, relationship-led, and deeply collaborative. I believe deeply that when we step into a child’s world, follow their lead, find that gorgeous smile and create moments of shared connection, that’s where the real learning begins.
“I believe Jessie has played an integral role in building our son’s self-esteem and sense of accomplishment and in turn, has helped break down a lot of barriers for him.”
“When my son first started ESDM therapy with Jessie, he was non-verbal and had significant difficulty communicating. With Jessie’s support, patience, and dedication, he is now talking and becoming more confident in expressing himself.”
